What do you think of this crazy fucking bs weather we just got??? :lol: cant believe it. Reports of people finding morels in the snow in my county so im off morel hunting!!! Heres the pic someone posted amazing

Sure might help in being able to see the tasty lil devils! Butter,flour and a steak....heaven!

Never did the egg wash,seems I only find enough for a couple steaks..I use the flour to absorb as much flavor as I can:bigjoint:

sounds great! Just like frying up a batch of blue gills!!!

That is a morel mushroom... An extremely delicious, very regional, wild mushroom.
It is not a practical mushroom to produce commercially. It is just picked wild in the midwest. Very delicious.
They pop up in the spring. In a short period of time. Usually a couple different times.
Even a small bounty is totally worth spending a day looking for them.
