perfect pot size for Auto in computer case (no pun intended)

I'll be using a computer case for a stealth grow that is about 22 inches tall. so because space is an issues I'd love to use a pot under a gallon and I just need to know how much growth medium do I have to have. I'll be growing Nirvana's Blue mystic auto's so they're pretty short. any feedback is welcome thankee!

Use what ever you want. More space and light is a bigger plant. Most people I've seen prefer 3 gallon. If your gonna do like say a gallon you can prob get one nice cola with an ok amount of bud. Unless you lst or something. Not much but enough just for you to smoke. With that space you have id just get a feminized seed not an auto and scrod at least then you can control how big it get in veg before it flowers. Seen some autos get huge and make a good stretch. What ever you decide hope it works out.

Thank you brother, yeah i have 5 feminized auto beans, so by the end of the year i'll be making another purchase. I think i'm going to go with Strawberry Cough, it's a good sativa. I don't prefer heady strains but I do love sativas (atleast the ones without the racing thoughts) I know i'll be upgrading, but not by much. Also doing it stealth really gets my creativity going so i can find new ways and do it. So i'm pretty stoked about it.

I wouldn't do anything under a gallon. If you have to just try it out and find out what works best for you. I would bet they would get root bound quick in anything smaller than one gallon. My autos get root bound in 3 gallon containers. Maybe you can find a half gallon air pot that prunes the roots.

autos roots like to grow deep, so use the tallest pot you possibly can, and lst, but with 22 inches it is going to be a tight squeeze and you might even find shit hits the fan because no matter how much you lst colas are going to grow as they wish, that being said it has been done, and a few times done well.

this is a pretty small auto though, like lowrider small, like doesn't get up to 2 feet small. but i understand what you're saying

I assume you are using CFLs across the top. Try and find a 1 gallon pot that is a lil shorter and fatter. Keep the lights about 2" from the tops. Easiest way is to find a way to raise the plant not lower the light. When you LST, bring the bud sites below the rim of the pot. This was under a 400 I believe. Maybe the 600. Not quite sure. 1 gallon pot. Pick 4-5 sites and cut everything else off.

Picture these top buds being down towards the lip of the container.

Key is to keep the lights close so it doesn't stretch.

How much did you get off their plant.....I'm trying to find out want I'm going to do since last time I got 3 zips off 5 plants. I need to step my plants up. But my space is small. And I have non fem seeds....man I got a lot to work out

Thanks for the Advice brother. I'm actually going to buy a long wide window seal pot and use that.
