perlite, whats the best?

i got some new kush seeds i'm going to start in coconut coir pellets and i wanna try a 50-50 mix of coco and perlite whats the best materals to use as perlite?

the coco and perlite mix would be okay just make sure the coco is the correct ph before planting soak it in phed water and then check the run off and if it has changed adjust it to the correct ph again i belive in coco it about 5.8 to 6.3 someone correct me if im wrong im not expert only got a couple grows under my belt lol

Um...perlite?

Perlite is perlite. It's all just superheated volcanic glass. I think about the only variation is the general size of the pieces you want to use.

Look for the World of Hempy Thread, so much info there on using coco and perlite.

i just dont really know what to ask for when i buy it i've been using aquarium rocks for this grow but i'd kist to grow and some new ones in coco-perlite mix and add the nutes ever other watering i've seen it in a few grows and it seems to be pretty alright
