perpetual dwc help advice

Hey I'm needing some help figuring out how to design and build the multiple systems needed to run a perpetual 3-4 week cycle in stations but keeping them all prepared for a 10 site undercurrent rdwc in the last 4-8 weeks flower i guess what I'm trying to work out is how can i run rooted clones for 2-4 weeks and still have them were they can be dropped in 5 gallon bucket lid net pots to move into the flower room i was thinkin of puttin rooted clones into 2" net bots and build a system out of 2 in pvc to keep them closer together so i can utilize the lighting for there size i don't want to have to run them as spread out as they will be in the rdwc for there it will be a waist of lighting so i need ideas of how i can setup for this first stage but still have them were they can be dropped into dwc net pots does this maje sense any help would be greatly appreciated

Spread them apart. I would use at least a 4" net pot if you can (actually I am using 4" net pots with a UDWC system). If you are building your own cloning machine then spread out the sites so the roots dont get tangled.

I feel your pain, I was thinking of doing exactly this type set-up. perpetual is hard w/ an undercurrent set-up. ultimately I abandonded the idea. I realized the initial costs are huge, but the running costs are also high. I was going to have 4 plants per system, spaced 2-3 weeks apart. im allowed 12 plants, flower. so id have 3 systems running in the flower room at once. that means 3 pumps, 3 res. I was going to daisy chain the airpump and chiller to save $. In your setup your putting 10 into the flower rooms undercurrent... at the same time or spaced apart. Not sure the girls would like sharing the same res nutes at different stages of flower. (that's y I was going with 3) If you want to conserve lighting the best hydro setup IMO, would be small individual bubble buckets, or an ebb/flow type set-up. you don't need to set-up ebb and flow in 5 gal buckets, go for something smaller and then cram then under you lights, but you'd have the ability to space them out as they bush up, and turn on additional lights, plus the roots wont tangle, and you can cull out any bad or infected ones. oxygen pots is a nice setup if your not 100% on undercurrent. (I was sold on undercurrent until I started working out the details)

I think your best bet is a NFT system. You could do (3) 4 or 6 inch PVC pipes at about 3 feet in length. So you would have 3 NFT side by side at 3 feet in length giving you 9 plants. Each row of the NFT would be at different stages.
