perpetual harvest

I'm either too stoned or...worse.

Having a hard time figuring the logistics of a perpetual grow that i would like to put into motion. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 2x 430 hps
2 x 600 hps
1 400 MH (in a 4x3 cabinet)
1 flour growlite above a 4 holed cloner (in a small cabinet)

12 waterfarms (with 3 rezs).

I have good ventilation in cabs as well as my 12/12 room which is 8x8 and holds the HPSs

I would like very much to harvest 4 large plants per month.

To do that, I think I will need to veg for 2 months.

Can someone please help me to figure when I should be taking clones and when I should be putting them under the 400 in order to stay with the above schedule?

My head hurts and I think some fresh minds will figure this out much more quicjkly than myself. Thanks in advance.

Its a pretty simple concept. Start with a few good strong female plants, keep them in veg for mothers, start taking clones, when your clones are about a foot tall, take some clones from them, then throw them in the flowering room, and repeat.

It would be a good idea to keep a couple extra plants in the veg room for clones after each cycle.
After some time you will be cropping some, flowering some, adding the new 1 footers to the flowering room, and starting a new tray of clones every couple weeks.

This is just the basic concept, do as much research as you possibly can before starting to grow, one of Al.Bs best tips I have read is "Dont start growing plants and then go learn how to grow"

You should know what to do from germination to curing well before you start growing anything. Even once you have all the basic info and you do start theres gonna be a million variables so its a constant learning experience, and thats why this site is great, when things start to happen you can ask questions.

Also check out the search tool, 99.9% of questions you could think of to ask have probably been answered several times.

And your going to get a Lot of different opinions, thats why its best to do a lot of research, and take a little of each and form your own opinions on the ideal set up.

There is no one master plan for how to grow weed, if there was it would be too easy and everyone would do it.

Hope this helps a bit.

Pretty sure Al B's perpertual harvest happens every two weeks..no? In this example....I'm hoping to harvest four plants ONCE per month. I'm also hoping someone can clue me in on when to take the FOUR clones and when they should be put into veg to make this grow happen. If I was looking at harvesting every TWO weeks...it would be a no-brainer. Obviously I would rotate the clones every two weeks...but I am talking about FOUR plants per month and not TWO every two weeks or even one every week.

Thanks for the replies....anyone else?

ok IMHO, in order to get an exact anser you need some exact data, exactly how long does it take for a clone to reach 1 ft??? further how long is the flowering time for your paticular strain?? Obviously you will be taking clones 4 at a time, but until you know the length of time you need to veg and flower for you wont know when to cut the clones..oh one more thing how long does it take for your clones too root? That can add another week or 2

Thanks Bigd....and you are right; there are many variables that need be considered but I was asking based on a (somewhat) typical 8 week strain.

I now can see that I have been racking my brain looking for an answer that does not exist..or at least does not compute. I'm thinking the only way to do this is to clone 4 and then rotate them into 8 veg and 8 flower. But that's too many plants (20) for my situation. I'm just happy to be over this brainfart. Maybe I can sleep now.

Thanks again for the replies.

not too much you got plenty of light i do it with a 175watt mh and a 400 watt mh with no problemsi get about 2-3 plants every 2-3 weeks it varies a little for me i think because i use compost soil and the results are not consistant exactly every 2 weeks some times 2 sometimes 3
