Peruvian torch tar- final weight

Here's the final 91% iso- extracted product... bone dry and weighing in @ 7 grams . I noticed when the alkaloids were separating in the jar, the top layer became reddish-brown, to nearly black. I only used 56g of powder to start with. The final dry weight seems to imply the starting product was pretty potent. Any thoughts ?

56g Peruvian Torch powder, from supposedly the best source in usa . I read somewhere that 200g of San Pedro powder only yielded 7g for him.
Seems to imply that my starting product was rather potent. Trying to sneak a trip into my schedule atm... (NEED 24 HR FREE TIME!!!) The suff is unbelieveably bitter and actually formed Linear "tar-logs" (I dubbed them) that were strangely reminiscent of the match-like formations or "spicules" ;-)_~ Interesting...

7 grams may mean a potent batch of powder, or it may mean a final product with some extra contamination. The 100mg / 1 gram seems to be too hopeful for a final yield ratio. But looks like you'll have fun either way man.

Johns Hopkins Research Data is a reference point: 100g San Pedro Powder= 300mg
37.5g Peruvian Torch = 300mg
27g Peyote = 300mg

And do you really think you're extracting to John Hopkins' laboratory standards with just over the counter ISO?

Not trying to rain on your parade at all man, just experience. If you expect to get max yield from a first time tek, you're being naive. Think of it as seed company specs on strains. They all say "400-500 g/m2" and yet, it takes a skilled grower to get that first run with random seeds of unknown potency.

Just be prepared you probably didn't pull 700mg of pure mescaline here. But it looks like you did it well, and should enjoy your experience immensely.

Well Thanks... The data was just a relevant (imo) ball-park footnote. I imagine professional "enthoegen" sellers would not carry products devoid of magic, so I am hoping for your "average" T.Peruvianus / or, approx. 500mg. mescaline for entire extract. I think 7g is a Good Yied, considering I started with only 56g powder. It works out to about 0.71/mg/gm-(hopefully). It prolly won't be enough for 2 Strong doses. Anyway, I have some T.Brigdesii (Achuma) skins Otw for another extract ;-)
