Hey Farmers
I got my new sprouts going, on a side of this I got some seeds from Elev8 seeds, and they suck ass out of 6 only 2 showed up, and have been stunted for some time now.
I got new seeds, about of 25 - 22 have sprouted, are a bit stretchy. I got them under Timber 900watt lamp, though for now I only use 1/3 of its strength. Got a few concerns and am hoping for your help.
1. How far should I keep the light from young sprouts? Right now I have it 3ft away from them, temperature near them is 80. How close can I bring the light without burning them? (My first seeds in a while and don't want to cause damage with experiments)
2. I have them all in rockwool and some in soil. The ones that were from Elev8 were in soil and I noticed a lot of movement in soil of supper little whitish (perhaps spider like) creatures ( don't want to say mites, cause it'll suck to have to deal with them on my first ever home growing project). What would be the best and safest way to deal with them, without endangering new borns?
And a pic of the setup and new babes
