PF Tek - Fruiting

Sup all. For anyone interested in psilocybe cubensis, got a little side project going on right now using the PF Tek. Just birthed/dunked/rolled a couple of days ago. Here’s the fruiting chamber:

Expecting pinning to start within the next several days. This is my maybe 4th time cultivating psilocybe cubensis. I’ve done PF Tek 3 times and also WBS —> Bulk substrate once. Just looking for a few trips worth for my wife and I, so I opted to go with the PF Tek again (bulk substrate just yields wayyyyy too much for personal use).

I was about to ask why you weren’t using Rubbermaid containers, coir and birdseed but you answered it for me.

Nice hobby rig, looks like you got the technique down.

Yeah I’ve done WBS and coir. It DEFINITELY works. It actually scared me (literally) to have so many, so I ended up flushing them down the toilet (this was like a decade ago).

Haha yeah, it’s amazing what a few Rubbermaid tubs will put out.

You were worried you would eat them all? Hey it looked like you rolled the cakes in something...before going into fruiting chamber? What and why?

Mazatecans ate mushrooms in pairs. Have fun...

I only had mushrooms once, in my teens. Loved it. Haven't had the chance to try them again. Thought about growing them.
Heard they can help with depression and give you a new perspective. I wanna try growing some after seeing this thread. Thanks for the inspiration.
