Ph 7.5!

So I did my first ph and the meter read 6.0 so I went ahead and fed my plants then after I fed the plants I checked the ph and it was 7.5.
Not sure how I messed that up. Will this be a big problem?

When testing your pH, be patient and give your nutrient / water time to settle. It's no biggie. Learn from your mistake and march on. Good luck.

What meter do you have?

However it’s probably a few years old now it was from a friend.

I am growing in coco so ph matters. I have the same issue of ph fluctuations. From what I can tell so far (someone correct me if I’m wrong) but be patient when feeding. Let your tap water settle then add your nutes and let settle again, stir it up again then test your ph and adjust accordingly.
