pH gone crazy!

So the mistake i made initially was watering my plant with non corrected nutrient water solution. Ever since then Ive been flushing her with very high pH water for like the past week! The day after I flush the plant, its pH always drops down to 4.5-5.5??? What do I do? I dont wanna keep flushing as the plant is kind of droopy and the water is rock hard from all the water.
My house waters pH level is 5-5.5 and I use pH up meant for hydroponics systems bought from McGuckins.

Could the problem be that For the first half a week I used natural spa pH up? (I didn't know u werent supposed to use it)
Could the dampness be confusing my pH meter?
:joint::peace:

Ps: nb question, but do I mesure the runoff or do I stick my rapitest pH tester in the soil?

you're making the mistake many people make, chasing ph. they don't like the ph their run-off is showing, so they water/feed/flush with an adjusted ph to compensate for the difference. don't do that! it can work, but it's a pain in the rump, and it takes a long time, if you can even do it right. first off, forget about the run-off, it's not an accurate reading. the run-off contains the built up nutes in the medium, so of course it won't be right. second, why are you adjusting the ph? if your plants aren't displaying any deficiencies, who cares what the r/o ph is? if you properly ph "everything" you put in/on your plant, ph should never be an issue. in hydro, optimal ph is 5.8, in soil 6.5...

Ph your mixture (after adding nutes) to 6.5 and be done with it. If your not adding nutes, still ph to 6.5
