So I woke up an noticed my soil ph was around 8 I used vinegar to lower to around 6.5 the next morning it went back up to between 7-8 I used more to bring it back down any help I’m worried it’s killing my plants

How are you testing your soil ph? Slurry test? Runoff is inaccurate. Tell us more info about your setup, what kind of soil, what is the starting PH and PPMs of your water, what nutrients, etc.

I have a soil tester it showed almost 8.3 I’m using fox farm ocean forest for soil advance nutrients micro bloom and grow ppm are around 1100 to 1200 also using molasses not sure what the soil ph was to start but the bags says when opens is 6.5 witch I bought new fresh I put a lil more vinegar an water today to bring it down again but I’m worried I’m killing my plants should I just keep feeding nute with a lower ph water like 5.9 -6.0 will that keep it down in healthy range

I went an got a better one calibrated it and I’m gonna do my regular feed but with ph 6-6.5 and keep an eye one it see if soil ph gets better I know the soil is high I’m thinking ur right the other ph meter wasn’t reading right

Post a pic of your plants, problems will show if they are far enough along.
If it's worth anything I use Hydro nutes in my peat soil mix with some pepper and tomato plants, I flush them once every few weeks or so. I use recharge once in a while also.

Again, if its one of the two-legged moisture/pH meters, they are NOT accurate for pH. How did you calibrate it?

Bluelab or Apera, there are no other shortcuts how to know accurate actual pH in your rhizosphere. Get one and you will be surprised that your pH is actually somewhere around 5,5 not 8,0. In pH of 8,0 you would not survive seedling stage. Apera is more expensive but it reads 2 decimal points, looks fragile too. Bluelab is great, solid and fast reading. It reads solution too. Their classic pH pen sucks in long time reading. Your plants look healthy with minor magnesium def. Probes you are using are toys and you can trash them or use it as moisture meter. Good luck!
