ph help

my ph is between 7 & 8. the plants are 4 weeks old on a hydrophonic system, what can i add to the water to bring down the ph? i have herd of adding vinigar, but not sure how much.

Don't use lemon juice or vinegar for hydro grows it can hurt them. You are going to have to purchase some pH down from a hydro shop because the pH in hydro should be between 5.2-5.8.

7-8 is tooh igh for any growing!!!! damn noob why dont u goto FAQ, look first then ask, another tip before u start to grow anything, at least read about growin i have dun for 5 years and im now im growing its helps ALOT,

PH is all about nutrient take-up. To low, or to high and the plant will not take up the nutrients from your solution that it needs for healthy, vigorous growth.

As suggested above, get a bottle of PH Down at your local hydro store ... or at WalMart in the aquarium section. Use it a little at a tiime, otherwise, you'll be chasing the PH back up with a bottle of PH "UP."
