ph levels for sativa's

ok im working with ak 47 and about day 35 to 45 days in 12/12 i have bad leaf burn that starts out with spots then eats up the leaves .i have indicas(blueberry/bubblegum) that dont have that problem at all . i heard that sativas like there ph at 5.9 to 6.5.my nuttirant mix is at 5.2,5.4 ph dose any one have any experiance with this?? and i am using GH nutirants three part system and sunshine #4 soil medium in 10 gallon pots with OR water and i have 6 years under my belt.any help would be great

I just finished an AK47 grow and always had my PH @6.5 - 7.0. No problems at all. I also use Cal-Mag Plus with my nute feedings.

5.2 - 5.4 is a bit low for soil growing. I'd say bump it up into the 6's

you do hae a point ! i have found some sativa's need different ph(normally higher) to get the best out of them

i like to hit 5.8-6.0 during some flowering feeds

5.7 - 6.3 no more no less will keep your plants in the safe zone for nute pick up
