PH not steady

I have noticed when adding PH down to my nutrient mix that the PH will change if let it sit overnight. I normally PH down to 5.9/6.0 for hempy buckets and then feed no waiting. I had a little solution left over from a feeding from yesterday that I PH'd down to 6.0. Today, tested the PH and it was up to 6.6 - what gives? I have never had a problem before but am wondering if I should wait until the solution stabilizes at 6.0 for a few days before using it? Anybody?

As @furnz said it's the carbonates in your water. These blow off in the largest amounts over the first 24 hours. After that your res should be relatively stable. For example with my tap water around 250 PPM I'll rise .3-.5 over 24 hours. After that I'll rise between .2-.3 over a week unless I have something wrong.
