I know a guy that swears by pouring boiling water over his rockwool NFT at harvest. Can't say I understand why.

I don't flush, I've tried both flushing ph'd, Flushing with flushnutes, and just watering the last 14 days, honestly none that i've asked has ever noticed a difference so i just went fuck it, i believe my plants need their nutrients to fully develop and dense up at the end :) Cannabis is about finding your own style that fits your plant.

If i had to flush i would go the ph'd way just because i have everything needed and it cant hurt :) i grow in soil.

I believe this comes from old school growers and hippies believing it kills the root and instantly starts fermentation/curing in the leaves and buds and should result in a 30 day cure in just 3 days i think it is?

It's surgical grade, dipshit. And no. Any good RO water will always be 6.5 on the nose every single time.

do you find it troublesome to pH? why wouldn't you its real easy and cheap? just saying it can't hurt to pH.
I don't flush my plants cause well I never seen any benefit to it, I always grew semi-organic and now full organic so I don't have chemicals to flush out anyway. never flushed any veggie plant or herbs or anything, I figure nature doesn't bother so why would I.

Having to PH your water means that there are impurities, chemicals, and who knows what else in it that make the PH unsuitable for use. PHing your water does not remove all of the harmful contaminates that were in it to begin with. It simply changes the acidity level by either adding acid or base to it.

The point isn't that it's hard, troublesome or expensive. The point is that you're essentially doctoring up shitty water to use in your grow rather than using quality water and not having to bother with it.

What's more, the shitty PH'd water can still cause all kinds of issues due to whatever contaminate it was that made you have to PH it to begin with. Many people run up against that and all you hear from people are PH it and Nutrients.

Shitty water is shitty water. If you're having to PH it, it's shitty. Best to use good water from the get go and you remove 99% of every problem you will ever encounter in a grow.
