Ph trouble

Ph strips are reading 5.5 or lower.
When i use drops it reads 7.0_8
Noticed orange residue on fingers when using strips did they go bad ? Anyone else experience this ? And wich do i trust ?

Strips suck... Drops are better, but do go bad. Make sure your solution is not over a year old.

I'd rust the drops. Not as easy to become contaminated with anything.

Ya its almost like the strips dont read at all normally i add a couple drops of nftg ph up but i added and added and still wouldnt go up so tested with drops and they said it went up. Strips and srops are about 7 mo old

Dont know what would of caused them tobgo bad just sit in my garage temp is 80_85
