PH? / Under/overwatering? Extreme dropping please help.

Hello, I am on my second grow! The potatoes on the plants in a set of pictures are their because I was checking for fungus gnats.

- 400w HPS
- 420 CFM fan
- Carbon Filter
- PH meter
- Sea Soil Original
- Dutch Nutrient Formula Gro/Bloom and Gro/Bloom fortifiers.

DNF nutrients and sea soil don't have lots of feedback on cannabis sites but on the ones they do it is posative.

Info that may be helpful:
- The plants had a low PH (below 5.9) and got purple stemps/purple under their leaves. I raised their PH and gave them nutrients and they perked right up and looked extremely happy and healthy.

- The next watering I used less nutes (1/4 strength) I might of raised the PH a bit too high, most plants were 6.6 - 6.9 runoff but one was 7.1. THIS WAS 3 DAYS AGO.

- Plants were upstairs and the temps got too 90 Degrees but were still looking healthy. I moved them downstairs and now it averages too 75 Degrees.

- After move plants look still healthy but with a little drooping. One plant has it really bad. Some curling, leaves pointing up but drooping alot.

u have fungus gnats? is that potatoes in your pot to trap larvea?

looks maybe like overwatering but the top soil looks dry, do the containers have adequate drainage on the bottom? some of them house plant pots have a cap on the bottom to catch the water but it traps water in there and allows it to sit in the bottom, if this is the case try removing said cap and letting it drain good.

my plants look a little droop like yours, i think my issue is heat since my cab reaches 90F sometimes during the day. they look healthy otherwise, i would like to say PH isnt a issue but i dont know for sure. i know that the PH determines which nutrients the plant is able to uptake and a low or high PH will cause "lockout" and cause deficiency which you plant doesent seem to have

when you water are you allowing the container to runoff, you said earlier the runoff was a particular PH (which from what i read the PH of runoff dosent really matter as the soil is going to buffer the water to whatever PH is hold, maybe after a long while of watering you will leech out some of the PH buffers in the soil but for a standard Mj grow it shouldnt flux much.)

are you PH testing the soil by the root ball or the top soil? you want a good reading your gonna want a good sample from down by the roos 3/4 of the way down in the pot. soil PH is ideal at 6.8 but ranges of 6.6-7.0 is good too and even 6.5-7.5 can work it all depends on the strain and other factors, definatly want to shoot for that 6.8 marker. like i said above you dont seem to have deficiencyies so i wouldnt fuk with PH too much right now,

if this is the case thake a bucket that you can fit the pot into (5 gal bucket probally) and fill it with room temp (or as close as you can get) water, then set the planter in the water and let it be untill it sinks to the bottom og the bucket.

some of your soil may have become hydrophobic so when you waterr it dosent absorb any water it just goes through and pisses out the bottom, by letting it submerge it forces all the air out the top and saturates all the soil.

once the planter sinks watch the top of the medium for air bubbles, if you see bubbles coming out let it soak a bit longer. you may have to top off the soil after your done and dont worry about the plant being underwater for a few minutes this wont hurt it. just make sure the container has good drainage cannabis doesent like to sit in water.

I think the medium can hold water just fine.
The top was so dry because the light was close and dries out the top.
I move the light up higher just now.
Someone on another forum told me my plant looks underwatered and the pot was pretty light.

If I look at my drainage holes there are a bunch of roots coming out of them, could my plant need more space for growth? Should I transplant into bigger pots?

Also as a correction I thought I could of had fungus gnats. I do not though.
