PH up and down

I'm new to growing and got myself a ph tester to test my soil, it reads 4 so I was wondering what are the two best household products to raise and lower your ph safely without harming my babies thanks everyone for the help

Baking soda for up.
Vinegar for down

bakina soda--up
lemon juice--down---but you can get ph -down and up fairly cheap online.. for around $10..

So how much would i use to raise it, the PH reads 3-4 now, and would I just add it to the water when I water them next?

ph testers for soil are not good for watering thats only for testing soil levels, you will need water ph tester and be able to use that for watering, your plants.

From what i understand, you add a little at a time and test it again until you get your desired results. you have to check it regularly though because it doesnt stay, the acids/bases break down and the ph changes.
Now i could be wrong, so please let me know if i am.
