PH Up/Down Toxicity Issues

I recently purchased a R/O unit. I get 7.0 ph water now. After mixing nutes (fox farm and cal-mag) I have a PH of roughly 4.0

Question: Is it safe to bring the PH up to 6.5 using ph up? Or is that too much?

* I do not want to add hard water to raise PH

* Adding the r/o water after nutes have been mixed has little effect on raising PH, and im not sure how much I want to dillute my solution anyways.

Get your PH correct and do so very quickly so nothing precipitates out. I mean like 5 minutes very quickly though

Yes...lol.....that's what PH up is for......

However, I have heard from numerous sources that too much PH up or down can/will make your nutrient solution toxic

I can just add PH up or down as I please? With no consequences whatsoever?

I find this hard to believe...

Mejuana: I mix the ph up/down immediately after stirring in all of my nutes.
