PH Water Question Outdoor Grow. HELP!!!!

i have VERY high tap water PH. 7.5-8.5. I have a fertilizer that is said to lower the ph of the soil. Will it lower the PH of the tap water? I mean should i mix the Fert and water up and then test it. Or should i add PH down,and then use the fert?

i use 5gallon jugs filled w/ river,lake,stream water.what a difference!

An organic fix for your soil is elemental sulphur. You need to be aware that this is NOT a quick fix, and will take a week or so ( while soil organisms break down the sulphur into sulphuric acid ) but, properly applied, sulphur will reliably drop Ph level one full point.
