Sensi Seeds Skunk # 1.
Blues ,Underground Original Seeds.
It's gonna be a Hard one going on veg, because one of the blues is growing in a way I love ,but the other has a Smell, that is amazing. Its got the smell of Exodus, the other has the livers smell but not so strong. The Sensi Seeds,Skunk # 1,all of the seedlings look great but a few are shining through. And 2 of them have a real strong pungent old school blues smell too them,If these have the bud I'm after then I'm a happy chap, but it's definitely the blues smell I'm getting from a couple of the S#1 Pheno. The Sheffield Blues ,I had friend's In Sheffield that used to get me cuts of it,but it's becoming harder to get ,hence the hunt here,I have been told for years now, that it was a pheno of Skunk # 1,from Sensi Seeds. Now I'm convinced it is,I have really enjoyed this hunt so far, been a while since I hunted through strains for something special. The main reason for that is because I have been growing Clone Only strains.Im also going to hunt for a pheno of Jack Herer from Sensi Seeds, once I have done with these. With the aim of having a friend keep a mother room for me ,I all ready have a few in there ,Strawberry Glue,Blue Cheese ,Exodus.

Last night I gave 10 of my Sensi Skunk #1 to a buddy

as he was having difficulty getting this old classic strain

I was surprised as I know its still around

but I still got jars full ...lol

you gotta keep your eye on the old classics

nice too

avoid pooling water...cause root rot this time of year

good luck

This is the Pheno that I'm chasing ,There getting put in bigger pots soon the roots are great at minute, humidity was low .i have been doing this right through .I just run a towel over the bottom of the tray when I have done. This gets rid of any excess water in the tray. This is the look any how,the smell is un forgettable ,just hangs on you for hours after smoking it .To me this strain is a classic ,and every grower should do it .same with ak47 and Nothern Lightsimage.jpeg

  • Sales Pitch:
  • The strain that changed the face of cannabis culture across the world continues to amaze weed-lovers more than a quarter-century after her release! The original Skunk hybrids fused traditional cultivars from Central and South America, Afghanistan and Thailand. Through generations of intensive selection and back-crossing, the very best examples of Skunk were stabilised into the first true-breeding Indica-Sativa hybrid - the classic Indica-dominant Skunk #1.

The potency of this branch of the cannabis family tree is so notorious that ‘skunk’ is often used as a name for any powerful ganja. Breeders regard Skunk #1 as the benchmark of uniform, reliable performance and her rock-solid genotype has influenced a hundred modern hybrids. Skunk#1’s energetic performance and bountiful yields demonstrate the true meaning of hybrid vigour. Growth and flowering are mostly-Indica in appearance, with Skunk #1 gaining a little more height than a pure Indica when blooming. The extra-dark green of this strain’s leaves comes from her Afghanica ancestors and contrasts sharply with her lime-green growing tips.

Flowering is very fast and Skunk #1 produces robust stems and branches to support her superior yields. Short internodal gaps quickly close when her nodes explode into dense, rounded flower clusters which merge into huge, heavy terminal buds by the end of the blooming phase. Fan leaves can show many shades of colour at the end of flowering, as plants focus their energy on bud formation and resin production

Sativa heritage is most apparent in Skunk #1’s beautiful calyxes, long, profuse pistils and her habit of expanding bud-growth in all directions as harvest time approaches. Sativa also has a wonderful influence on Skunk #1’s potency and effect - a stunning combination of stone and high.
