Picking the right fluorescent lamp please help

Hey guys, I just joined and am a new member. I also started growing and this is my first grow. Im growing a northern light x big bud plant 100% indica in my closet. It is a weak set up but I think it is good enough and I am not looking for a professional set up. I have a 13 watt fluorescent light buld. I know its not a lot and I am going to buy a stronger lamp, but the problem is I have no clue how much wattage I need. The seeds were feminized autoflowering seeds so the plant needs light 20 hours a day throughout vegetative and flowering stage. It has to be a fluorescent light so please give me the best advice you can. If you got any other tips and notes for a new grower please feel free to share. Also my plant is already a week old, how often should I water it. Ive read that a lot of noobs kill the plant by overwatering it so ive been taking it easy like once every 2 days is that not enough?

For Veg, I use a mix of 23W CFL's, at a 3:1 ratio, of 6500K "daylight" and 2700K "soft/warm". You'll want 100w to 150w per plant, for veg.

Flowering, the light mix would be the other way around, but for flower I really recommend HPS.

yeah I would say water every 2-3days 0r just win you notice the top part of soil is getting a bit crusty looking but not too crusty! I happen to use the T-5 designer(fluorescent) and so far this is how they are turning out - 6Wks In The Making - Let me know what you think

If your light source is too weak, the plants will stretch and you'll end up with lanky plants with few budding points. CFL bulbs work great for vegetating plants. For a single plant, you'll likely need roughly 3 x 55W for proper coverage. A reflector would be advisable as well. Also, as mentioned above, use a majority of blue spectrum bulbs for vegetation.
