(pics) is this pH problem or something else?

One of my fellow 215 patient is holding these and I think they have a pH issue.

the leaves have a weird curl, some are curling down some are up.

I told him to flush them with 0.8 EC pH 5.8 last night. He did that but not much improvement till now. I want these babies to be healthy when I get them.

Please tell me what you guys think is wrong with these.

The flush was a good idea, my thoughts on the matter:
Over watering, mine start to twist and cup if i over water. see what happens in 3 days. also i dont know how long theyve been in pots, but it could be the start of a cal/mag deficieny. theres my 2 cents holmes.

yeah looks like overwatering or they need to be transplanted into bigger pots. i would say overwatering... let them dry out a little bit between waterings.

Hiya Bender mate.....I'll try and help. But I'm not that good with this stuff to be honest. Do you know what EC they were being fed at before you flushed? With what nutes and water? Tap, RO or Rain water.

If using canna nutes (canna is all I know) and using RO or rain water, then you need to supplement the cal/mag as canna designed their nutes for tap water which already contains traces of cal and mag.. So what the fella said above could be spot on. They would def be needing that cal/mag hit about now. Mine were suffering a bit at this early stage until I found out about the cal/mag which I needed to supplement as I use rain water. After that, my plants have been spot on.

But let them dry out and see how they look in a day or two. To be honest man, they don't look that bad at the moment. Let us know how you get on buddy.

do you know if your waters hard or soft? doesnt look too bad to me to be honest id let it ride n see how they go in a couple of waterings.

Thanks for swinging by friends. I don't know much of the detail. He said they are looking tad bit better.

I will be getting these in a day or two as soon as I receive my grow hut for veg.

I am sure once I get these babies, I will, with your help, bring these babies to enjoy life fully.

i had curling leaves like that and it was wind burn

no problem dude, i lost a whole run to a cal mag def about 6 months ago. My water is soft in the north bay of california, and canna coco also absorbs it, stripping your water of it. You usually will notice this about week 4 after transplant into a new pot.

The fix-str8 from hydro owners mouths:
5ml cal-mag every watering in coco
or if your feeding saily 1.5ml a gallon

if your deficieny gets worse 10ml a gallon till you see the green come back then back down to 5ml.

ALSO:
how close are your lights? and also the man above is asking the right question about your fans?

When leaves curl downward, it means the plant is trying to conserve water and if they curve upward it means its trying to release water. since yours are down i would assume a fan also, but light may be the factor to.

Right now tho, let them dry, dry dry

im sure it will clear itself up, but definitly find out about your water (hard or soft) and get some cal-mag
