I have 4 ICE growing of unknown sex. I have butchered.......er, ummm taken clones from each and should know sex of each within the next day or two.
But during my hacking, I figured I might as well try some different techniques. So.........without further ado, let me introduce my magnesium deficient ICE plants. (you can see by the new growth that I took care of deficiency, but kind of wild looking nonetheless)
As you can see, by the second picture, it appears that I will get 4 shoots coming out. You can see in the 2nd pic the new growth just to the left of purple/red stem. If you were to cut just above where those new leaves meet the stem, you could do the same thing.
I will update photos in a day or so to get a better idea.
If anyone would like to know my set up, lights, tent, nutes, etc..............just ask. But I wanted to show off this technique, since it was my first few attempts. Comments are always welcome.
JUST FYI: The very small terra cotta pots with the ICE plants are cacti started from seed.
