ccd's have a limit to how much light they can handle, and typically and smaller sensor will have more issues. So pocket cams and cells with not work so well under HID lighting. Even a full size sensored SLR will have issues with HID if angle the right way towards light. If you have a lens with a hood that shades your lens, that will work. Otherwise just use some more conventional light and you'll be good. Also don't forget macro mode, that little flower symbol on most cams. Look forward to the pics!
