^ Pineapple Express & AK-48 ^ 2-plant scrog

this will be my first attempt at a scrog so any thoughts, recommendations, and questions anyone may have please, dont hesitate to ask. next month ill have 1yr growing so i know im bound to fuck up somewhere. YA HEARD

plants are G-13 Pineapple Express and Nirvanna Seeds AK-48 both fem from seed. started in 16oz cups with roots organic coco 7 days apart. i originally planned on doing 2 ak48s but only 1 out 5 seeds cracked. im not gonna say its nirvannas fault im sure i fucked up germing somewhere. so, enter pineapple express that i got as a freebie. AOWWW
transplanted today 10/1 into 5 gallon pots filled with Nutrifield Mega Brick Coco. i understand i did this pretty early but i dont want to transplant into a 3gal grow bag just to transplant again in a couple weeks. i plan on only watering only 16oz every 2-3 days for a week or so to help the roots with some water but not so much to fuck up the rest, the majority of the coco.. ?

this is in my veg room. i understand the best scenario would be to veg and flower in the same spot so the plants can fill up the screen but i have 2 separate rooms. the flower room has a 600w hps and a 400hps conversion. i have 3 tahoe og unsexxed plants now in veg going to flower soon, at least 2weeks before these ladies enter SO i wont be able to go 18/6 for a week or some before flower. SO again lol i will lst the fuck out of these plants to get bushy, multiple tops and have a capopy as even as i possibly am able. to keep it.
then set the screen when i enter flower.

How funny. I completed a grow of Nirvana AK-48 and G-13 Pineapple Express a few months ago and it went nicely. The AK was not strong smelling but if it was you couldn't tell because one of the 2 PEs was definately a stinker. It smelled like over-ripe pineapples and fresh roasted coffee beans hot from the roaster.

For me the better of the two was the PE. Did a nice job on pain control and gave a nice brain massage too.

I had the same problem with my ak48 seeds. only 2 of the 5 popped. Maybe there is something with the seeds after all.

I'll follow along seeing that I just sprouted 3 of them there P.E myself. Nice looking job so far, keep it up.

i added red and green half's so i wont get confused as to if i rotated the pots or not. pic below you can see what im talking about. i rotate every morning.


started bending over the tops a couple days ago just to get them used to the tying down i plan implementing this weekend. today i was much more forceful with the bending down and now they both reacting just fine.
below is the ak48, she was tougher at first to bend over, felt like she was going to snap. but after those 2 days of just slightly pushing over she can now be pushed further easier.



below is the pineapple express, she was able to be pushed down way easier than the ak. dont kno if thats just because she is younger with thinner limps or thats just a genetic thing. either way, all is good

too cool, just sent a pineapple express into flower a few days ago, i vegged a few days shy of two months, lol got stretch going on have not topped or scrogged just lst'd it and will do so again in a day or so to open up the canopy, got clone cuttings going on too. I hear that Tahoe OG is the bomb ass smoke. check the journal if ya want to see my first hydro attempt with the PE. One thing I have noticed is that if I rub the stalk it smells freaking delish'. Fruity like pineapple pears and lemons so much so that the Barney's buddha cheese that sits right next to it has no odor. Oh I'm sure it's coming but damn the PE has the lock on appealing odor.

Nice start man. I always drill holes. In the buckets and then anchor the branches down. And supercrop your stems for the heavy buds that strain makes. I'm subbed!

Very nice man. That's one hell of a symmetrical plant.

was tying down, accidentally topped. so i topped the opposite side too to keep symmetry.

Looking good Matatan , why the tieing though ? i have seen this alot , a pinches and bends does the trick , looking great though , and just why im here , wearing SOCKS, with your sandles is not cool
it works...

yea man... im supercropping my tahoes and its SOO much easier to keep them down, BUT harder to maintain exact even canopy.... but hmmm i think when the screen goes up ill be able to manage that with the screen.......
