I'm using a KIND K3 600 watt LED and my plants are doing great and have been under it since day one. I started out about 24 inches away the first week then lowered to 12 inches. Plants are growing like crazy. Good luckCan I put 10 day old pineappe express auto's in a tent under a 600w dual spec bulb if it's kept as high as possible( approx 1.5 meters)their getting real stringy as if their not getting enough light.got .. I got them under real low watt CFL at the moment but as they are auto flowering do they need more light!!! Thanks......
Dang everywhere I have red says to keep them at least 30 inches away. Thats gnar that you have it at 12 after the first week! How many plants are you running under it? I was thinking about getting the Kind K3 600 a 3x3 room with 4 plants. Think it will work?
What kind of ventilation are you running to get the light that close? I was hoping to not have to go any bigger than a 4" fan pulling air out and a small house fan with a screen pulling air in from the outside.
Not sure I have the cash for a two fan set up and a new light but it's good to know I can better my setup in the future. For now may just have to keep the light a little further. The grow will be out back in the shed, with the sea breeze it stays cool enough but I am not sure I could get it that temp to move the light that close without AC.
