I've decided to start a pink Floyd thread.
Anything and everything about them feel free to discuss.
. my parents grew up listening to them and going to their concerts, my mom loves them and I always liked their music but never fully understood the power of their music untill I entered the psychedelic world now I can't stop listening to them trippin or not. I wish I coulda seen them in concert its to bad I never will. I heard they are so great in concert . My parents swear they are the best live and they have seen many concerts. Elton John, Simon and Garfunkel, the dead of course and tons of others but that's just to name a few. Anyway chime in everyone I'd like to hear what ppl have to say.

I hear Brit Floyd is outstanding, my buddy n his wife are huge Floyd fans and have seen many cover bands n they swear that Brit Floyd is by far the greatest.

I saw Floyd in 95 @ soldier field..they were good..not great, they were old, I saw the Stones that year too and they sucked..washed up.. You'd be surprised what a great cover band can do. Especially when ya eat a couple grams of shrooms.. I caught darkstar orchestra couple years ago n they were killa ..thought I was @ a dead show again.

I went to eclipse 2 Saturdays ago the vocals were shit but the drums and guitars were spot on. The club was empty we left around 12 but only bc I ran out of money for the bar would of definitely stuck around otherwise

I've seen em a couple times, they were awesome. IMO ya gotta go back to Umma Gumma to get into the good stuff though all their stuff is good, I especially love Animals

IMO Brit floyd is the best cover, they will be back at Red Rocks again on June 9th

animals is my favorite too. atom heart mother was a good one too.

Has anyone ever done the wizard of oz/ the wall thing? Tried it a couple times in my teens tripping out on acid but we could never get it to work.
