I purchased one of these about a week ago and it arrived today. I was impressed with it when I removed it from the box. It feels and looks like a quality product. It has 1 electrical outlet for a ph up valve or pump and 1 outlet for ph down. It comes with a long cord for the probe and is fully adjustable. I am waiting for my hanna ph pump it will arrive Dec 2. Has anyone else used these controllers before? I bought it because i saw it used in a 420 Mag. grow and they said it works flawlessly and the price is reasonable. I bought mine from online aquarium store for $199. Ill let you guys know how it works when my pump arrives. If anyone has one what mixture are you using in your pumps and flow rate for a 100 gal. res. 50/50 water and ph solution???

IMG_0491.jpgIMG_0488.jpgIMG_0489.jpgOk here is the update and some photos. The pinpoint controller i bought has worked flawlessly since i hooked it up. I am sure everyone has their own ideas what to keep the PH at. I have mine set to keep the ph between 6.2 and 6.4. It can keep it as close as .2 either way if anyone is that particular. I used a 50/50 mix of water and ph down. I am using the botanic PH down solution 29% i believe. I have the pump inject the fluid in the reservoir near the probe on its lowest setting. This keeps it from over Phing your water. I only mixed a small amount of Ph down and water in a 1 gallon jug and there is still a lot left of what i made. The pinpoint Ph controller has 2 electric outlets, one for PH up and one for PH down. It is a quality built controller and believe it will last a long time. It is easy to calibrate, but to set the ph was a little strange for me. The directions were a little difficult to understand for me but figuring it out was no problem. Could have been the herb making it difficult also. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who grows and has limited time to take of some of the everyday things. Both the controller and pump are awesome. Yes it is $350 for both but man it is nice. Here are some photos. They were in a 5in pot and they outgrew them fast. Putting them in 9in pots and going to start flower next week. Not sure about males and females on most of them yet.

Hello
Can you post a link to the actual advertisement or company...???

With fully automated temp/humidity and fully automated pH/EC and water/nutes set on timers....
How long before you can plant a seed in June and collect a box of joints in October....??

But I do like the sound of pH control.

Thanks man i am happy how the plants look so far. I bought the pinpoint controller at bulkreefsupply and I bought the hanna pump from Farmtek. Here are the links.

http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/catalog/product/view/id/699/

http://www.farmtek.com/farm/supplies/ProductDisplay?catalogId=15052&storeId=10001&langId=-1&division=FarmTek&productId=516001

I read the directions on the controller again and it can be set as low as .1, I think that is awsome from a $200 ph controller. My plants are loving it and so am I.
