PK 13-14 Coco Question

Hello RIUT'eam Members
Referring to Coco here

On The Nutrient Chart, Phosphorus show's as Best Available at a PH of exactly 5.8, Obviously Coco has a PH Range of 5.5 to 6.5 so it makes this very possible to run a constant 5.8

When Using PK 13-14 (Raises PH)
》Is it best to run water PH levels at 5.8 After PK 13-14 Has been added?
》Or stay with lowering it between 6.0 to 6.3 Range after adding PK?

Has anyone had any Experience with using PK 13-14 from Early Weeks of Flowering Onwards? I know there is Bloom Boosters to begin with & Flower Boosters to continue with (Being PK 13-14)

Is it Best to mix PK alone in its own seoerate Bottle or mix it in with the rest?

I Know its Strain Dependant on when Buds need & use High amounts of Phosphorus & Potassium to Fatten up but is there a general window for Sativa Strains?

Is it worth Flushing/Checking Coco PH before even Bothering with PK? Because realistically, DWC, Ebb&Flow, Aquaponics etc is all Run Soiless so that cuts out having to bother checking medium PH when its right there in liquid form.

Any Advice guys & Any Noticeable Results would be Greatly Appreciated
Thank you

With coco it has a tendency produce its own K over time.

With this in mind you have to be super careful when adding a PK booster for any length of time as it can have a quick negative impact causing uptake issues with Mg and Fe due to K toxicity.

Personally when I use a PK booster I use it for 1 week around week 5 of flower and I always increase my Ca and Mg levels when using the PK booster.

When I add PK booster it is the only time I really pH my feed due to the increase in pH from the PK.

You should notice that coco specific nutes are generally higher in N than P and K and higher in Ca and Mg than standard nutes.

I would strongly advise against using PK boosters for anything more than 1 week in coco due to the K tox scenario I mentioned earlier.

Whenever I've tried using PK for longer periods its quickly followed by climbing EC in the runoff, yellowing and chlorosis of leaves followed by generally slower performance of the plants towards the finish line.

I use a 5-4-3 base nute along with added Ca and Mg.

A lot of the time I don't have a need for PK unless I see a def symptom such as P starting later in flower. Then I tend to add it just to help stop the def symptom.

Hope this helps a little.
