Is heat control important for your grow space? There are reflectors that have ports for exhaust fan ducting and can hold a glass heat shield. The polished German aluminum ones are also 95% reflective, better then 90% PL Light Systems lists.

Absolutely PL reflectors are the best, and the most efficient reflector you can get (see Dutch greenhouses). Go with the deep reflector (400-600 watt) for max penetration into the crop, 1000 watt reflector only has one shape, but excellent quality as well. Talk to the guys at Altgarden.com to order online, or 'Brew and Grow' Madison Wisconsin if you need some over the phone advice. This is the only reliable source to get these reflectors and ballasts, others say they carry them but they do not STOCK them. Ballast has unique electrical pin, know this if you plan to run different ballasts with these reflectors.

This^^^. P.L. refelctors...the greenhouse growers choice. Best most efficient reflectors hands down. Good luck finding them in less than bulk quantity these days. They used to be in hydro shops back in the day.
