Planning first grow and need help

Hi all I'm completely new to growing and just purchased my first seeds. I'm planning on growing in my closet, which is fairly large, and was curious if anyone has had experience growing a couple of plants in a closet. What kind of lights and ventilation system should I set up? I am a complete newb and any advice is greatly appreciated.

well how big is your budget for a start?

your gonna want intake and exhaust fans, couple of pc fans would do the job.
your gonna want lights, as much as the budget will allow.
circulating fan inside the room.
and a medium, i presume soil would be best.

other things youll want that are good to have are ph testers and temp/humidity sensors
