Planning to move in India, in High Altitude

Soon I am moving permanent to India. I will be living in a mountain with 1500 meters above the sea. I would be growing outdoors. Any advice on selecting strain? Also anyone knows if is illegal to import seeds in India?

Thatll be so dope! Im sure youll come across some beautiful landraces native to India while there. Take a pick at any indica or indy doms they should flourish at that altitude.
