I'm planning on turning my closet into a grow room. It's kinda small, but I'm not trying for a big harvest. I really want to try a perpetual harvest and would like to use StinkBud's aeroponic veg and flower set up (although if you tell me it won't work I can switch)
The room at the moment is a 2'1" x 6'3" sliding door closet. I'll need to build a wall where the doors are and am planning on putting a wall inside to separate 1/3 of the room for vegging and the remaining 2/3 for flowering (unless this sounds like it won't work, if so please tell me). I will attach an extremely poor diagram I made in Paint. I think that all the math is right, but I was a little baked when I did it. I converted all the figured to metric as well.
I'm really only looking to harvest a QP every 3 weeks so would I need to harvest about 4 plants each time?(assuming I would still be able to harvest that often with my restrictions compared to StinkBud's original set up). I also need to scale down StinkBuds to fit if it's even possible. Would a 600W light be able to handle this?
In the veg room I plan on replicating StinkBud's exact set up. The only thing that might change is the number of plants and therefore the lighting.
My biggest problem I think is climate control. This room would be very easy to vent out into the attic, and I suppose I would vent in from my room (I still don't have a complete grasp on venting. Do I need to vent into and out of?). How can I control the temperature? We have central air and usually have the thermostat set 70-80 so the air coming in from my room would be the same or warmer, how would this effect both the veg and flower rooms? A dehumidifer is a possibility if yall would reccomend it.
A couple other questions/problems I can think of real quick...is ciggarette smoke harmful to the growing/flowering process? Will light coming from my room enter in through fans and fudge things up?
A sincere thank you goes out to anyone who replies.
I welcome any and all suggestions or critiques.
