Plant diagnosis

Hi guys,

1st time grower here.

I noticed this discoloration about a week back but I thought it was from the light (300w cfl) not penetrating through enough.

I recently started reading up on plant problems and the discoloration seems to be associated with Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV).

Has anyone encountered this? TMV seems pretty serious. They're about 3 weeks into veg. Pic 1 has had very slow growth and I was considering getting rid of it. It's apparently very easy to spread it to the other plants. It's abnormally small for it's age (appx 3.5inch / 9 cm).

I'm thinking there's a chance it's TMV and has spread (or I helped spread it) to the other, more normal growing one (Pic 2) which is on it's 4th node and about 10 inch / 25 cm in height.

The setup is 3.6l pot (for now), growing in biocanna soil, nutes (2/4 of recommended dosages) under 300w cfl. I use bottled drinking water up until now but will switch to RO soon.

Please help!

Variegated cannabis. Its cool and harmless. Google it for a much better and lengthy explanation. But I believe thats what Im seeing.

Thanks bro. I looked it up and it seems to be harmless. In fact, I've seen some growers being a little proud of the seemingly rareish mutation.
