Hi all,
So I recently upgraded my lighting and my plant is not taking it well.
Its been like 3 days and its getting worse.
Originally, it was under a 150w metal Halide that was used to grow corals in a salt water fish tank. I was told this isnt ideal for Plants, so I pulled the plug on it and bought a 400w Ballast and fixture.
Well, I thought the plant's were getting used to the new light, and actually enjoying it.
However, I woke up yesterday morning to see brown\yellow spots all over the leaves. Mostly the lower leaves, but as of today its spreading to the uppers. The whole plant has a sort of yellow tint to it.
I havent dosed any Chems yet. Was waiting till they got a little taller and bushier. There's been no drastic changes in water or anything else but the light.
Reading other posts, its really hard to tell whats going on.
Some leaves are shriveling up, and becoming hard, cracking if you touch them.
Please help, the plants were doing very well, how could changing the light to something much better cause them to have this problem?
They're severely stressed now for some reason.
