Plant is wilting after topping

So a few of my plants started wilting pretty badly after topping them and a few of their branches. They have a good amount of moisture in the soil and I have them nutrients today. They’ve been wilted since about two days ago. I’m starting to worry as my FAVORITE baby, my white widow is getting worse. I’m not sure what to do at this point. My boyfriend set up the carbon filter for me and he said maybe it was all the ruckus and bumping them around a bit? Maybe that plus the topping took a toll on them temporarily? Idk but I hope they recover soon because I am starting to worry. Please help, thank you in advance.

I do not believe you have anything to worry about. They will recover just fine.. this happens often with squatter plants being topped as the plant was directing most of its energy to what you remove, so the leaves under are often slightly less erect. If it’s healthy, which it looks to be, then the new apical growth will recover and start growing with normal vigor in a couple more days likely. Don’t think I would worry tho.

Tip-a good mycorrhizae dosing would be great around this time!! A solid Kelp extract would help, tho neither are absolutely necessary.

Side note, forgot to mention, I don’t have mycorrhizae or kelp extract BUT I did give them liquid seaweed and some wholly mackerel fish fertilizer and they seem to LOVE that stuff, hopefully it’ll perk them up a bit

Just saying....but mine can look a little like that on the odd occasion I hit them with a little too much to drink.
You didn’t give them a bit of an extra hit after the top that may have built up a bit of excess moisture ?
Only reason I ask is that I have topped many plants indoor and out and never have I ever encountered a droop after doing so.....good luck with it

Thankfully they perked right back up, I topped the shit out of them and I think that’s why they wilted like that. I did give them nutrients the day or two after I topped them and they’re doing great now. I think that’s the last time I’ll top them, and I’ll flower them in a few weeks.
