Is it true that the hemp plant is mature and ready for flowering at the 14th node?

no not true 
many people claim that a plant is mature when the nodes begin to alternate..
But the reality is... a plant is ready to FLOWER whenever you want.. whenever the conditions are ideal for you... if you don't have enough light for a big plant.. then you can flower at 4 nodes or less and still harvest 3 ounces of dry chronic!
