plant not fully budding...can i fix this

so i have a 2 and a half foot sativa dominant plant. that was started late january here it is august and the plant has been budding for awhile (kinda of early but w.e) but with the hairs turning brown the inch or 2 of good bud at the top my yield isnt looking to promising. below the 2 inches of bud/flowers are only 2 sets of flowers with tiny bud collection. so my question is, is there any way i can increase my yield. or have i already fucked up.

i take it it is a outdoor grow. right?

what strain is it? and what are you feeding it if anything? i would let it go though you still have awile im guessing until it is matured. but you know more about it than i do. about how many weeks into flowwering are you? you can try giving it more phosphorous and potash if it is not to close to harvest. like using foxfarm beastie buds but this is used in the middle weeks of flowering.

i thought it was mids, because it was a bag seed, but it actually smells delicous, but i have been giving it straight water not nutes, and its been flowering probably 2 months. im prolly gunna give it some 4-7-4 nutes i have for the next couple weeks, then see if theres any production. but i just dont wanna give up on it

i wouldnt give up depending on what it looks like (ready to be harvested or not) but if you are going to feed it i would try somthing a little heavy on the p and k. how r the trichs. coming along?

dont have binoculars, orginal this started out just by putting 1 seed in a pot in sayig why not, but luckily ive came this far and wouldnt mind some smokeable bud

micoscope i meant, was a little high when i posted that... but any way now that i am sober let me give a better synopsis. the plant only has 3 layers of flowers, at the top is 2 inches worth or bud/flowers then lower are some small leaves growing out of the stem with a little bit of of bud growth and the next set is like the second set of leaves. then the rest of my 2 foot plant is the stem. so i practically have no flowers on my plant other then the few stated.
