Sorry but i can't get pics yet...........................I'm Growing 8 plants (various ages ranging upto 5 weeks old) in soil which include autoflowering and non autoflowering plants in one 80cm wide 160cm tall budda room grow tent under a 400w hps 18 inches away from canopy (soon to be added extractor fan/carbon filter kit) 6 plants are in 12 litre pots and 2 are in 6 litre pots.
Every last plant has some of their leaves turning yellow, the tips on older leaves higher up the plant start turning a golden brown from the tip which eventually spreading up the leaf turning it into a very light yellow with the leaves crisping up dyeing and none of my plants have a lush greenness to them(apart from the tops which havent been affected yet)...... But even the younger ones that are a week old are affected! Their leaves are turning yellow and even their little finger first leaves are turning yellow what the hell??
I have noticed that all the plants turned yellow even before i added nutrients (The week old ones plant didnt need any and they still turned yellow after a watering or two...) the three 5 week old afghan kush were turning yellow before they started flowering around 12 days ago.
I have only fed the afghan kush vegative nutrients a few times (every second watering from week 3) I use 2 mil per litre of biobizz bio-grow when i do use them, i have few the younger ones also 2 mil per litre every 2nd watering when they are around 2-3 weeks old. I will be buying flowering nutes this weekend!
I also water them every 4-5 days and nute feed them every second watering, .......... I hope all this info help in someone sussing out my problem! The last time i grew i used a friend digital ph checker and found out that the tapwater i use has way too much chlorine in it, so i let it sit for a few days before using to evaporate it(well try). (Maybe its the chlorine?)
The non auto's im growing are only between 4 days-3 weeks old and all experience similar symtoms.........I was also using a 125w cfl without a reflector on the afghans for 3 weeks so they arent as big as they should be.
I read somewhere that cheap grow tents give out toxic odours which are deadly for weed plants.....Is this true? The buyer i got this from on ebay was chinese, but he owned a shop in london with his own website and it arrived within a few days. So maybe its a cheap chinese tent thats killing my plants? The tent does look legit though with the budda room logo on it etc
