Have you been given them any type of fertalizer yet. What is the ph of you water? are you growing in soil hydro? what is the ph of your soil/ what type of soil? Are they from seed. What type of light are they under? Yellowing tips could be many things are they curling down or up?

The soil already had fert in :/ my ph is 5.5 that's from the tap there a cutting not sure ph of soil I'm using 600w sodium 18/6 and there curling down looks like a claw any help?

The fert may have worn out...what kind of soil u using? Most soils I've seen are for the first 3 weeks of growth only...any day after that, expect to be having such issues. Curling down might also happen because of heat issues...but I don't think that would stunt the plant. Also you might want to check the pH of the water/runoff and see how you stand.

Coco soil I think not quite sure got pot full off a friend :/ well what sort of fert shall I use can you use hydro feeds in soil?

5.5 ph of tap water? What type of meter are you using. And yes I agree with Valid what type of soil are you using. as far as the water the ph is way too low. Check it again and if so go buy your self either some purified drinknig water or get some ph up drops. but as far as purified drinking water you would need some cal/mag because tap water has good stuff in it also let your water evaporate over night in a clean milk gallon container to eliminate clorine in the water. water should be 6.2-6.7 ph unlss your useing organic fert like Earth Juice is what I would recomend.

Hydro feeds in soil yes and no some you can others I would defintly stay awat from. you can not go wrong with Earth juice. Your in veg right now so use a tablespoon of grow and a teaspoon of atalyst in a gollon of water.

I'd say don't feed it any more until you can get pics, if you can't i guess you gotta find out the real answer yourself. Cause it could be nute burn.... And by giving it more nutes you're just burning it more.

Look here is so very useful info if you read it with understanding. This was given to me by a friend a while back and ever since then I have not ever had a problemwith growing in soil. pics are a must if you wat so help. but try and read as much as you can and belive me the answer is there but with out pics we are driving blind here is some info hope it helps

NITROGEN (N)
Pale plants, red stems, smaller growth. Rapid yellowing of lower leaves progressing up the plant. Add any chemical fertilizer containing N. Treated plants recover in about a week.

PHOSPHORUS (P)
Slow or stunted growth, red stems. Smaller leaves that are dark green. Lower leaves yellow and die. Add chemical fertilizer containing P. Affected leaves will not show recovery but new growth will apear normal.

POTASSIUM (K)
Affected plants are usually tallest and appear to be most vigorous. Necrotic spots form on lower leaves. Red stems. Leaves appear pale or yellow. Add chemical fertilizer containing K.

CALCIUM (Ca)
Lack of calcium in the soil results in the soil becoming too acid. This leads to Mg or Fe deficiency or very slow stunted growth. Treat by foliar feeding with one teaspoon of dolomatic lime per quart of water until condition improves.

SULFER (S)
Plants suffering from S definciencies exhibit yellowing of new growth. Mix one tablespoon of Epsom salts per gallon of water until condition improves.

MAGNESIUM (Mg)
Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward.

IRON (Fe)
Leaves on growing shoots turn pale and veins remain dark green. pH imbalances make iron insoluble. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Fe or rusty water.

MANGANESE (Mn)
Necrotic and yellow spots form on top leaves. Mn deficiency occurs when large amounts of Mg are present in the soil. Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn.

BORON (B)
Growing shoots turn grey or die. Growing shoots appear burnt. Treat with one teaspoon of Boric acid (sold as eyewash) per gallon of water.

MOLYBDENUM (Mb)
Yellowing of middle leaves. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Mb.

ZINC (Zn)
White areas form at leaf tips and between veins. Occurs in alkaline soils. Zn deficiency can be treated by burying galvanized nails in the soil. Chemical fertilizer containing Zn can also be used.

OVER FERTILIZATION
Causes leaf tips to appear yellow or burnt. To correct soil should be flushed with three gallons of water per one gallon of soil

It's all good. Do not be alarmed. Remember that it is technically a weed meaning hard to kill. if you not doing hydro then the plant is pretty forgiving. after the first couple of grows you will be a pro in no time. just be patient and try to educate your self as much as possible. and if not, we are here to help. but yellowing and curling leafs to me is over fertalization and/or over watering, are the leaves curling down like a bird claw if so that is a sign of over fertalization if they are curling up then the light is too close and they are spending to much water to compensate, how often do you water? you should let the top soil dry out before watering again make those bitches grow and look for food don't spoll them or they cry all the time.

Sounds like nute burn, give them a flush wait a week and bring back nutes at less 20%.

Might be nute burn ----

check out this guide

https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/420048-nute-burn-deficiency-guide-diagnosing.html

Also, nute burn can result in your PH being off as only some nutes are absorbed at different levels. 5.5 for the water is good. should check out your soil

Yes, as well as it might be underferting (lack of nutrients there of). Especially because he then said:

Coco soil I think not quite sure got pot full off a friend :/ well what sort of fert shall I use can you use hydro feeds in soil?
Coco does not contain nutes, therefore it needs some. Being mixed with soil, it was good enough for the seedlings, because it provided just enough food, and also kept it a long time in veg already, so you see my point above. And 5.5 is NOT okay for coco/soil mix, it is ok for coco ALONE; it should be the same as for soil: 6.2 - 6.8 optimal levels. In fact, it might just be what's causing a lockout, so stop talking nonsense.

Now, Jwee: you need to tell us:
- if you've been using any nutrients so far; you mentioned you have some a/b; what brand is it? there are many a/b's out there...
- what are the percentages of coco and soil that are mixed together (it IS mixed with soil you said, right?)
- what's the ph of the runoff? The water itself is not okay so far, but endulge us.
- is the yellowing progressing from the bottom up? (this would be a Nitrogen deficit)
- has the yellowing occured on the newest growth only? (Sulphur def.)

For the last 2 questions, you could refer to the list of deficiencies listed above by solarphlare and also go through the rest of them in that list that could be related to yellowing, I just started you on.

There, after this we should have a better understanding of the situation. Crazy mumbo jumbo.
