Plant Transfer

I recently came up on a few outdoor plants. I transferred them from ground to pots and brought them hm. The next day the plants look to be in shock. My question is, will they die off or rejuvenate eventually?
 
You ripped off another outdoor grower's grow? Shame.

How did you transfer them? Just rip them out of the ground, or did you properly dig the root ball out?

As long as you put them into a decent medium and enough of the roots are still in tact, the plants should start rebounding after a couple of days. Prevent over watering.
