planting companion plants around pot to repel bugs/pests...

im planting 10 clones outdoors quite soon. i won't be able to protect them from everything but i will do my best. im going to plant some companion plants around them to repel off the pests.

i plan to plant alyssum, and chamomile around the feet of the plants since they don't root very far, and chamomile induces oil production, well so i've heard anyways.. then i'll plant marigolds around the boreder of the bed.

then i want to plant borage, tansy, and garlic like a foot or 2 away from them so they don't over compete with my weed.

are these good ideas? will this work? any thing else i should know?

neem oil, buy it at places like home depot and such

i will use the neem oil and maybe a pepper/garlic solution as well...
but i would like to stop them before they even come.

white flys love corriander by the looks of the poor coriander plant in my grow room had to take it out but they were all over it and not one anywhere else in the room also i grow mint cherry tomatoes and tyme oragano basil and sage

i cant exacly grow that many plants, especially cullinary herbs, next to my weed lol. i only want a couple to ward off bugs and i dont want to spend all my money on companion plants.

i just love growing herbs and herb ! they mask the smell amazingly too no carbon filter needed i just dry my herbs next to my outtake fan and the house smells of pizza !!!1 lol also to save cash and perfect your cloning go to some ones garden or a park find some nice smelling plants pungent scented and snap a pice off to clone free plants and practice for cloneing
