Planting in the ground question

Apparently the ground/soil here is too acidic, just to be safe I planned to dig holes and put in my own soil, but what I am wondering is, won't the roots eventually get into the native soil and then have problems? Do I need to line my hole with something?

I grow outdoors every year n haven't had Any problems with acidic soil outside of my holes. Asking as you fill your holes with good soil forget about the rest.
Don't complicate it. That's where most people go wrong n it usually ends up worse than what it woulda been leaving it out of the equation.

Dont trust "apparently", it is or its not and it may not be after adding water...

As others have said..dont over think. Ph is very important in Hydro, tis not as important in the ground.

Dont go lining ur holes..may as well use pots..which means smaller plants (or BIG pots), more required nuitreants and much more water= way more work.

I have very acidic native soil. Ranges between 8 and 9. However I notice that my organic matter lowers the PH of the native soil for about almost a foot around the hole.
Yeah don't trip!
