plants 2 done?

I was wondering what the signs would a plant show that went budding 2 long would be? also how manys days after peek ripeness would it take for neg effects?

all you would be doing is affecting the outcome of the high, the longer you wait the better the taste and smell, but you will be losing optimal trichome maturity by letting it go too long its only august so I dont think you can be too screwed

look for the rusty overdone look, also buds will get lazy loose soft, i just let some go and got a lot of finger hash. use the squeeze test, or cut a piece of sweetleaf and scope it. all red trichomes mean done done and for some strains overdone but still good just get with it or end up with degraded ass glands. not as bad in my opinion as cutting too soon thats terrible.

one time i let my plant go for a few weeks after it was at 100% amber and it had this gooey stuff dripping off it. I told everyone it was just pure resin. not sure though.
