Plants are starting to look sickly

Please help I just switched nutrients from maxi gro to miracle gro because of the doubled nitrogen and I figured the little guys would like it but each one is handling it differently. I've been searching and searching but still haven't found a straight enough solution to my problem. Any advice/tips would be appreciated. Also the lower half of this ones roots are brown. The upper half still look white and healthy though.

Well got up today and she is drooping her leaves more. Idk what to do please help

Part of the problem is a calcium def. also looks like you have been over watering but that is only a guess with the given info.

They look pretty small for much of any kind of nutrient. People will tell you its lacking in this and lacking in that when most likely its actually overloaded on nutes already. Flush them with water and go easy on nutes whatever you use. Damaged leaves will not right themselves so concentrate on the new growth

Exactly. The only 'deficiency' here is proper care. One of the biggest problems people struggle with, imo, is the method they go about watering and flushing. For example, when you water, you should give it a thorough soaking, enough to where its draining out the bottom. However, if your container is bone dry and you water it, you'll have water running out the bottom instantly, so my advice is contingent on the fact that you've not let the soil completely dry out between waterings.

Also when it comes to flushing. A proper flush uses ph balanced LUKE WARM water. You must add the water until you get free flowing drainage...then you must wait about a half hour, and repeat the process. That's the critical part is waiting and returning..the first flush loosens the materials, the second flush actually rids the materials from the medium.

I struggled for years with the advice others gave me here on roi and other sites..people tell you what to do, but don't offer the esoteric details needed to do 'it' successfully.

Thanks everyone I am fixing to start flushing now. Also the one I am asking about also has the last half of its roots turning brown. Should I be worried or am I just getting ahead of myself. I also had these two in the same tank. But they each reacted differently to whatever is going on. I currently had the water temp at 78-80,and where also on a 1.0 gph drip for thirty min every three hours. About two to three times a day I give them a lite mist. Humidity runs anywhere from 32% to 54% and it stays about 80-84 in there. Each plant currently has its own 42wCfl 2700 lumens each about 3 to 4 inches above tips. I did allot of research and this set-up seemed to best suit my needs. Would you change anything possibly any improvements

If you flush them bud just leave it at that and just let 'em chill for awhile. One of the biggest problems some new growers have is just knowing when to just leave 'em be. You dont really even have to mist them bro its mostly unnecessary. It looks like you have a mild case of nutrient burn going on but its not bad. After you flush and go back to nutrients, just use half or so of the recommended dosage. Theres a very fine line when it comes to nutes. They can help promote growth and they can also kill plants if you get too liberal with them.
I've never used a drip feeder before so I cant comment on using them, but I do know you also want your plants to dry in a healthy way in between feedings Your lighting seems to be ok.

Advice and tips were very helpful. I noticed a change in their status within a day. Thanks for taking the time my peoples. I'm off to more forums and sites to get some more info on nutes and possible ways to lower my res temp without having to but a water cooler. Here's the difference the advice did for these guys.
