Plants droop between watering schedule?

Hey all,
Just a quick question as i can't seem to find the answer...
What would cause a plant to droop between watering schedules? As in, i watered yesterday in the afternoon... all looked good, light stayed on a good 8-10 hours after. lights off for the night, 5 hours, then on today. looked ok in the morning. I just got home from work for lunch and i see one of my guys are droopy. PH levels look fine... I'm new at this so i haven't seen this happen before =)

No need for worries. It's normal for plants to droop after you water them, and during it's growing phase. If you look at a time lapse video you'll see the plant droop and then raise up and then droop and so on and so on.

Maybe over watered.

I thought about watering a good amount before i started these guys. They are all in 8x8x8 pots and i gave the all 1/3 cup water. They all look healthy, that one just started to droop and has been droopy for a few hours, and i watered them a good 18 hours ago, and it didn't start to droop until about 5 hours ago, so i thought if it was over watering, i would have seen the droop within the first few hours. and again, all the others are perky, hence why i was curious.

yeah man too much water. let it dry up so you see the dirt shrink up a bit or stick your finger in the soil up to the first small knuckle to make sure its not damp anymore before you water again. give it like 4-6 ounces of water or until you see some drips come out the bottom.

Best bet for a first timer is to get a moisture meter from a store...there cheap, under $10.

I use the weight method...when they feel light to pick up it's time to water. Once you water, pick them up and feel the weight and judge that everyday. You want the roots to stretch and search for water, not have them drowned in water, that will cause you problems later on, and not build a healthy root system.

1/3 cup of water is like 2.75 ounces of water or something close... so if anything i would have under watered them then...
yea i use the finger/soil trick, when i watered yesterday, the soil felt dry to where they needed water, however i'm sure i could have over estimated how dry each plant was, maybe they needed different amounts of water and she was one that didn't need that much.

either way.. hopefully all will be good tomorrow.

what kind of soil are you using?

most of the time,plants sroop cus theyr overwatered..let the soil dry out before watering..TRUST ME.....I had the same problem...theres 3 reasons y a plant would droop

1.overwater

2.underwater

3.heat stress
