plants in 102 degrees for 8 hours... buds fried?

I'm 22 days into flower and I already have some fair-sized buds on my plant, but yesterday I had a problem and my closet got up to 102 degrees for 8 hours of the day. Will those parts of the buds have any potency at all left after I harvest?

water them and they should pull out of it..... fingers crossed!

If it was 102 degrees directly under the lights and the plants actually fried, you may be a bit screwed. If it was 102 degrees ambient temperature in the room, they'll be just fine. Give a bit of extra water and try not to let it happen again and they should pull through just fine.

well, of course the plants will "pull through", they're not dying or anything, and obviously it's at least 102 degrees under the lights if the ambient temperature is 102 degrees. I'm just wondering whether those parts of the buds will have any THC in them at all come harvest time. Or rather, is all the THC gone from those plants now, and if so will the plant continue to produce THC on that part of the bud, or will the bottoms of all my buds be crappy?

i dont see how one hundred degrees would kill all your thc from those buds... Think of it this way it gets up to 110 degrees in nature where most plants are still able to thrive 102 should not be any problem at all.

It gets up to 110f+ for extended periods of time in parts of California and people somehow manage to pull in pounds of high quality bud.

ive had a grow where the temps stayed high at some points but the girls pulled thru just fine..gl

I was 2 weeks from harvest once and I had a timer not kick on an exhaust fan and my room got to 105 degrees. When I opened the door to the room it was ultra humid and the plants all fell over like noodles. I kicked on the water pump, flooded the table, turned off the 1000w HPS and through a 15w CFL on them to lower the temp quick. Within a couple hours you could never tell it happened. Cannabis is a very resilient plant and can withstand a lot. As long as your leaves didn't crisp up and die from the heat burn they should recover fine. Post some photos

i was actualy having this discusion earlier today..i was told something about the thc turning to cannibioids or how ever thats spelled,and will just mostly give the bud more a paralyzing couchlock effect..my temps since flower have not been lower than 86F ..but no higher than 92F either...thought i did f*ck up a few weeks ago and literaly fry them..but like a weed,they came right back to life lol
