Plants In Flowering: Whats The Cause?

So here are 2 of my plants in flowering,

I picked some buds off of the third plant and it pretty much looks like a stick now ( they weren't really potent yet)

so my question is what is the cause of my plants sickly appearance?


I hear they are supposed to be praying towards the light, these do not look that way..



Can soil Ph be measured with Ph litmus paper?

If so, how much soil per how much water? since the soil's Ph content can be diluted if to much water is mixed in in order to get a Ph reading..

different things can cause the same symptoms, so how can a newbie like me differentiate between two problems with the same symptoms?

Looks like u may hv some nute burn, but b careful it may b a deficiency ur experiencing, can u get better pic of em?

Are you feeding them any flower food? If so, what and what is the npk of it? What kind of soil are your plants in? What is you light schedule? Got a fan going?

These are some details that we need to help you with the issue. From just looking at the pics right off they appear to look like they are in need of food. Let us know and then we can go from there.

Start with 1 prob @ a time so u don futher confuse urself. ect:if u thnk nute burn, then flush the hell out of ur plants and start over with a lower ppm in nutes, u should as a noob b using a schedual of water,water,nute,water,water nutes ect.in soil grows.

I am using the blue miracle grow fert you mix with water

happy frog soil
12/12 (a little light leaks in for a few hours, lights turn off at 6, it gets dark at
fan on

my soil mix is like 70% happy frog and the rest perlite

perhaps its nute burn?
perhaps its nute defficiency?

also, do bulbs get weaker over time? or do they just die out in an instant?

I have the bulb that came with my 150w hps, should I change it with a new one?

yes the bulbs get dimmer before they burn out. get a new one.
how many weeks have they been flowering. its normal for the leaves to start to go yellow late into flowering.
how much miracle grow are you giving it? its like 20-20-20 on the npk. not very good for flowering.

Looks like you have nute burn, lockout and PH descrepancies.

Flush, adjust PH and only give 1/2 recommended nutes...maybe even less. Give it about a week to recover before you give it nutes
