Plants not flowering?

Hi all,

I've grown before a few years ago but always had them flower quite quickly. These babies seem to not be flowering after 4 - 5 weeks on 12/12. They started outside (approx 18+hrs sunlight) but recently moved inside for flowering. They're in a room with curtains drawn, then in sliding wardrobe with additional black sheeting to hopefully prevent any light leaks, but I can't be completely certain they're in absolute 100% darkness. Due to people visiting early on, they had 2 days where they had to be put elsewhere which may not have had quite 12 hours of darkness.

Do you think they look like they're changing? Should I just give them more time? Any other ideas why they haven't switched yet?

Cheers!

Thanks champ. I'll do that and see how we go. Any idea what time frame I should see change to see if that's what it is?

it seems like they should have turned by now, are they some super sativas or something? I would hope you'd start to see some action within a few days to a week. This is such an oddity I have never heard of plants not flowering but I have heard about plants flowering without any influence.

I'm unsure what strain they are as my seeds got all mixed up. Both plants could even be different strains. Yeah seems like an odd one to me, never had this happen before.

I gave them some old flowering nutrients (5 odd years old) about 2 weeks ago but I've since run out. I'm unsure if nutrients have a used-by date but figured I have to get some new stuff anyhow. Is there a recommended flowering nutrient I could get from a local Bunnings (Australia) or somewhere? Otherwise I'll have to wait for postage.

Seeds!!! you should have mentioned seeds. From germination, it will take at least 2 months before they are willing to flower.

Sorry CC Dobbs, I'm unsure what you mean? I grew them from seed, 18hrs outdoors for maybe 2 months? That time frame is just a guess as I forgot how much I love the herb and just put em in a pot on a whim and let them grow.

Seeds usually need at least two months and sometimes up to 3 months of vegetative growth before they will start to flower regardless of how many hours of light they get.

Ah k cool, I get ya. Yeah I'm pretty certain they've had enough time to flower. Has to be at least 2 months.
